Real patients, real results

“Started my journey on December 9, 2023. As if April 17th, I have lost 37 pounds. I am 5lbs of my goal and feel great! Thanks to Jaimie for her help and guidance.

If you are looking to start your journey, highly recommended. I finally found something that allows me to still enjoy food while losing weight! Dena!”

“I was initially a bit skeptical about the promise of semaglutide. I have struggled to lose weight, however, this program has been exceptional. From day 1 when I met with Shawn and talked through my concerns to working with the nurse and nurse practitioner to now--30 lbs lighter with no problems at all, this has been a wonderful experience. The staff are unbelievably kind and patient and great communicators. I simply can't say enough good things about Affinity!”

The absolute BEST thing I have done for myself.  I started on my program 1 yr ago at 170 lbs with 16% pbf and the transformation is beyond what I expected at 180 lbs with 10% pbf.

I was always in shape and felt ok, but now I feel amazing, more focused and in better shape than I was in my early 20's. I would definitely recommend the Affinity program over and over again.  Thanks to Glen and the whole staff at Affinity Whole Health.  They are GREAT people to work with!!

  • No. GLP-1s are not recommended during pregnancy or while trying to conceive, as there’s not enough safety data. Women are typically advised to discontinue them at least 1–2 months before attempting to conceive.

  • Some women experience changes in menstruation, often due to rapid weight loss or changes in insulin levels. It’s not a direct side effect, but hormonal shifts from weight loss can influence cycles.

  • Yes, they can be beneficial. GLP-1s may improve insulin sensitivity and support weight loss, both of which can help regulate cycles and improve symptoms in women with PCOS.

  • Not directly. However, rapid weight loss of any kind can sometimes lead to temporary hair shedding. It’s not due to the GLP-1 itself. Hair loss is temporary, resolving once weight stabilizes and nutrient intake is optimized.
