  • When your hormones are out of balance, life can feel like a rollercoaster.  Optimizing testosterone levels with Testosterone Replacement Therapy can have beneficial effects on your mood.

While Testosterone may not directly cause an increase in motivation to exercise, its effects on muscle growth, energy levels, and mood can contribute to a greater inclination to engage in physical activity.

  • One of the benefits patients on Testosterone Replacement Therapy notice and appreciate is an increased sex drive, improved libido and reduced erectile dysfunction issues.

  • Testosterone is the hormone that regulates skeletal muscle tissue. Combining TRT with exercise leads to increased reudlts, faster recovery, and increased lean muscle mass. This promotes better metabolism and helps with fat loss, helping patients achieve the results they work for.

  • Low testosterone can lead to sleep disturbances. Correcting this imbalance may lead to higher quality sleep.

  • Testosterone helps maintain bone mineral density. TRT reduces fracture risk by strengthening bones, especially important in aging men with T deficiency.

  • Emerging research shows TRT may enhance cognitive abilities such as memory, spatial awareness, and executive function in men with low testosterone.

  • Some studies indicate TRT may improve insulin sensitivity and lipid profiles, potentially reducing cardiovascular risk factors in hypogonadal men.

  • TRT can stimulate red blood cell production, improving oxygen delivery and reducing symptoms of anemia in men with low testosterone.

Low testosterone is a growing health concern for men, but rarely talked about.

According to research, men’s testosterone levels have dropped at least 20% in the last 20 years, independent of age, with more and more men suffering the effects of low testosterone.

It's natural for testosterone levels to decrease about 1-2% per year after peaking in your 20s and 30s. The difference now is that the starting point is lower for each generation of men. So, a man in 2003 might have a Testosterone level 15-20% lower than a man of the same age in 1988.

Luckily, there is a solution: Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a highly effective treatment that is now more convenient and cost effective than ever.

  • Low testosterone is a common condition that men develop due to age, stress, disease, physical trauma, an unhealthy lifestyle or environmental factors.

Testosterone levels naturally decrease as we age, typically starting around age 30 and declining by about 1–2% per year.

  • Testing for low testosterone involves drawing blood for analysis and reviewing your medical history and symptoms with your Affinity Medical Provider.

  • Affinity offers some of the most comprehensive labs in the industry. Your Patient Care Coordinator can explain which blood tests you’ll need for your desired program.

If you already have labs, you can share them with Affinity to see if we can use them for your consultation. Your Affinity Medical Provider will review your labs with you during your consultation.

  • Affinity offers free 2-day shipping for all orders. Your order often ships the day after your telehealth appointment.

  • Testosterone levels decrease naturally about 1-2% per year after peaking in your 20s and 30s. Normal ranges vary by age and other factors. To find out if your levels are within the normal range, you can begin by scheduling labs with your medical provider or Affinity Whole Health.

  • It usually takes 4-8 weeks to feel the effects of TRT, although each patient notices results differently.

  • The most common side effects include acne, increase in red blood cell count, decrease in sperm counts, breast tenderness and worsening of sleep apnea.

Other potential side effects are discussed by your Affinity Medical Provider at your consultation.  If determined, your Provider may prescribe medications to alleviate these potential side effects.

  • Testosterone Replacement programs (TRT) range based on your dosage and program length, typically $249-$349 per month, all-in.

Affinity’s all-in pricing includes your medications, supplements, supplies, shipping & handling, follow-up lab work and follow-up consultation. We never charge a membership fee.

You’re partnered with a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator as your point of contact throughout the process.

  • During your first consultation with an Affinity Medical Provider, you go over your lab results and medical history together.

Your Affinity Medical Provider determines if you qualify for a treatment program, explains treatment options, potential side effects, and answers your medical questions.

  • Affinity does not offer hormone pellet therapy. Pellet therapy require an invasive procedure to be inserted and cannot be removed or adjusted once placed.

  • When you begin a program with Affinity, you receive check-ins from your Patient Care Coordinator and your Affinity Medical Provider reviews your periodic lab results.

You'll have consultations annually with your Affinity Medical Provider and as needed.
